As my book deadline nears…

…I’m not completing ignoring My First Kiss.

I ran into our illustrious director yesterday and she imparted some potentially positive news, proving that even though she’s crazy business with her other creative endeavors, the movie remains forefront in her mind.

Mine too.

I followed up the news with an hour long phone meeting with Peter to get the lowdown on what he’s been up to. Erin, who was working on our budget before she got called off on location, is back. They had a meeting to bring her up to speed and she is now revising the rough budget. He has also been working closely with our friends in Montana and we should be receiving a selection of location photos specific to our needs within the next two weeks.

Peter and I also discussed stategy. We will be moving full steam ahead once my book goes to China for printing the beginning of July. I will then be working on the movie at least half the time, with the remainder on marketing the book.

Feeling very positive these days.

I’m Not Dead…

…just really busy trying to finish my book.

Stuff is going on with My First Kiss. It’s just being done behind my back. But I’ll be back on it soon. You’ll see.
